You can get inexpensive white tablecloths at the Goodwill. And you could use bowls (also from the Goodwill) of apples, oranges, and lemons with red, orange, and yellow fall leaves. Keep it simple.

ohhh i have great ideas! fall is so pretty alone that anything nature like will be gorgeous. My gf was married oct 1 and i too was originally going with the rustic/fall theme.

if you have a baby or know someone who has one ask them to save the glass baby food jars. You can take the labels off and then wrap twine or ribbon around the tops and place tealights in them. very cute and cheap.

Birch tree-If you take birch tree and cut into 3' 4' 5' inch high you can take a drill bit and hollow out the tops to stick tea lights in. very pretty and inexpensive.

you can even cut them thin to make coasters(or use other woods) then place a mason jar on top of them filled with hydrangea or roses or babys breath. again simple but gorgeous.

I suggest cupcakes to cut costs and you can also make stands out of cut logs and thin round pieces then screw together.polyuranthene

you can use the extra fabric from your bridesmaids dresses to make table runners too. or to wrap around your unity candle. Find a cheap lantern and plase the unity candle in it.

go to your local craft store and find fake flowers and you can take styrofoam board and cut the initial of your last name out and glue all the flowers onto the board to create a nice backdrop behind your headtable or sweetheart table.

Aisle decor- take shepards hooks and put in ground or in a cemented flower pot then take twine and wrap around mason jar and then fill with flowers and then make a loop in twine to hang onto the hooks. Gorgeous decor!

hope that helps....feel free to message me for any other tips. Happy planning

1195 my second wedding only cost 200dollars. Bought wedding dress from second hand store and friends altered. Had 4 bridesmaids and attendents. I told all guys were a black suit with white shirt and black tie. Dresses were made by friends and I told them color requests and maid of honor bought material as she knew I was poor and friends made dresses they all agreed on dress and chose something that could be worn other times they all liked. Flowers, bouquets and hair pieces were made by friends. Recpetions was in a park and friend made beautiful cake that was very professional with many teers and was gift from her. Everyone changed for reception to play baseball and everyone brought a dish for huge picnic. It was the one of the most wonderful weddings and treasured moments in my life. This is how I believe weddings will be in paradise, all friends helping and joyously working together. Sadly I married a selfish man who only cared about his business plans and little for me, sorry reminds me of your comments in the past. Please don't be mad for honesty. I will never regret the beautiful memory of my friends, but I regret marry a man that I was trying to help, he hurt me in ways I cannot repeat. It took me 10 years to let go of the pain and now I am old and sick and because of things I cannot ever marry in this life ever again. I wish I could be happy for you. Since I have come to know you through you ques and our emails, I am sad and worried for you. You are a good person and deserve to be married to someone who respects you, loves you, cherishes you and does not stifle your goals for education to become a vet. You deserve someone who will sacrifice for you the way you have sacrificed for others. I am sick and wasn't going to answer questions today but when I saw this, had to say this, as if I was your mom. Please think about what I have said. I told my own daughter she deserved to be with a man who made her happy who cared more about her than himself. If you have found this, then be happpy. Please forgive if I offended. My daughter didn't listen, married abusive man and now she is gone since 1998. Police listed as suicide but I have my doubts. Not worth proving as it will not bring her back. I know my God will resurrect her in paradise and I will see her again. Again please forgive my candor, but I really care about you. Agape, Babs
P.S.this the kind of love in Bible I hope to find one day in paradise:
(Song of Solomon 8:6, 7) 6 “Place me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; because love is as strong as death is, insistence on exclusive devotion is as unyielding as She′ol is. Its blazings are the blazings of a fire, the flame of Jah. 7 Many waters themselves are not able to extinguish love, nor can rivers themselves wash it away. If a man would give all the valuable things of his house for love, persons would positively despise them.”

Luckily, fall weddings can quite easily be cheap and beautiful.

Make use of fall foliage, pumpkins and gourds, etc. Use seasonal flowers.

Assuming your venue allows open flames, candles can help set the tone and would go really well scattered by real or (good) fake fall leaves. If you're okay with going for the rustic style, or shabby chic, it gets even easier and cheaper. Tie raffia or orange/brown/gold ribbon and fill with pretty but cheap fall-colored flowers from Kroger and VOILA! Centerpieces! Decorate a food table with baskets of Indian corn, pumpkins and gourds, and colorful leaves.

To be honest, most weddings can be nice AND cheap if you just know where to look and take advantage of sales and stuff. Go out shopping right now, there may still be some fall decorations at Hobby Lobby, Walmart, dollar stores, etc. discounted big-time. After Christmas, twinkle lights will be on sale, and twinkle lights are twinkle lights whether you bought them 75% off at Walmart or at a jacked-up price at a wedding supply store. While traditionally associated with winter weddings, they do provide great lighting for fall colors as well.

Just use your imagination!
