please can some of you frequent twitter users help me out? i mean is all twitter is for posting what your doing at the moment? i thought it was this hot new phenomenon! but anyways, when your following celebs, theres so many of the same person that says there the real so and so, so how do you know who the real say miley cyrus really is? and also how do you set it up so that you get an alert when someone your following posts a new tweet? and any other basic tips or tricks would be useful! im new and dont really get it at all..

You know if someone is really who they say they are because usually celebrities post twitpics that are taken from their phone that no one has. To get text messages updates from twitter go to settings, then devices. You type your cell phone number in and receive a code you have to text back to 40404.
