what would be a good way to mark tomorow on facebook without sounding like i feel sorry for myself?
Tomorrow i am due in hospital for what will hopefully be the last appointment actually just a check up related to an accident I had 5 years ago in which I almost bled to death, broke many bones and hit my head I was very sick 5 years ago but am doing good now.Even if I still have many problems left to deal with in my life. So much has happened and I want to mark the day by just mentioning it on facebook but how can I do so without making too big a deal of it. what if i say 5 years later and I am finally done with hospitals because of that stupid accident I had. Feeling good and glad to be done. or something like that any other line suggestions gratefully appreciated It is a big day for me even though it doesn't mean my life is perfect its the end of hospital visits and stays and hopefully I've lost enough friends now too but i still think I should mark the fact that after all this time I am finally done with hospitals

Just say something, 'Going into Hospital for a check up from my accident 5 years, I really hope everything's okay!'
That should be fine, doesn't make you look like you're looking for attention or anything, just letting people know you're scared a little! |
