Deleted photos on iPad 2 still showing up?

I recently downloaded some photos on google images on my iPad 2. Afterwards, I deleted them because they were taking up space.

The photos have been deleted in photos.app on my iPad 2, but say, for example, I wanted to upload a picture to Facebook from my iPad 2, I would see the pictures I deleted still on my iPad 2. But, if I were to tap on the picture, then Facebook in question would crash. (the same happens for other things like twitter or photobucket etc)

I don't know if this is a glitch or something. I restarted my iPad 2 many times and even restarted it by pressing and holding the power button and home button.

No, this iPad 2 is not jailbroken. Also, I do not own a Mac, unfortunately I use a PC

Well if it's under the album 'PhotoStream' then either delete the photos or go to setting and turn photo stream off
