Does this guy like more than one girl or am I paranoid?

So I know this guy likes me were really good friends.I was on his laptop and I know I shouldn't have but I guess I was just setting myself up for misery. He has a lot of friends who are girls (not close) but he talks to them like on Skype and facebook messages and stuff and I know it's normal to talk to the opposite gender but I just feel like I'm not special and stuff since I know he has fun talking to other girls. I read this message (a quick glance) his good friend who is a girl said "soo Raleigh?(:" and he said "sshuddup"
And idk bout you but to me it seams like they were talking about him liking her. I thought that I was special Nd we would be more than friends soon but now I'm scared he's leading me on. I don't have the emotional strength to like him but not know if I'm the only girl he likes. But it's not like I can just say hey so do you like me or what and are you flirting or like other girls or is it just me. I'm scared of making things awkward for our friendship and speeding th ings up. I just cant stop Feeling like I'm just a girl on the side(he's a sweet nerd like guy so it would seam out of character to be that type of guy...but idk)

Does he know you like him do you think you give off that vibe?
Because maybe you are just a friend to him, so sorry to say it.
Ok so I would say start showing him your gorgeous self that you are that girl with the special qualities every man wants (which me and you both know you have.)
Oh I forgot about the he likes me part.
How do you know he likes you.
And if you know it he told you and if so why hasn't it moved beyond that.
