On Facebook, I have liked a page but the updates from that page don't show up on my newsfeed?

I have liked a facebook page of my friends business but her updates dont show up on my newsfeed. Can you tell me how to change it to ensure they do please? Thanks.
I did make sure "show in newsfeed" box was ticked when I liked the page so unfortunately that's not my problem. I want the updates to show in my newsfeed so that my friends can see them too so don't really want to access them any other way than the newsfeed. Thanks for any help.
Thanks Daniel, will try that. I have only "liked" one or two of the photos but not interacted any other way so far.

Facebook is dodgy it does this for me too

Just keep links in a notepad to the pages you visit, this is what i do

Have you Interacted with the Page at all ? Sometimes When you Dont Interact with the Page at all Facebook Wont Display there Updates on your News Feed
