In desperate need of advice-_-?

Please help me! I could use all of the advice I can get!
So I'm a freshman in high school and I really like this guy whos a junior. I love absolutly everything about him. He has curly brown hair, hazel eyes, he's in a band, we like the same kind of music and he's really sweet and caring. So you might ask me why I don't just go up and talk to him... well that's because of many reasons- I get really shy around guys I crush on, he's my brothers friend(also a junior), and he's dated a few people I know. I don't know how to handle this situation. What can I do? Any advice would be great!

A note i think. If hes never talked to you before though then just stalk him in facebook and see what his favorite color is so you can wear that color to school when you approach him lol
