Why doesn't she take initiative to txt me?

My friend asked this girl I like to forward a message and she said she doesn't have a way to contact me. She never took any initiative to txt me and I only txt her once in a week. But she has my number and she was begging for it. and whenever I see her, she is all over me.

Girls wont text the guy first. You have to do it, or else nothing will happen. I remember seeing something on Facebook that said "I'm the girl, you're the guy, text me first, or we don't talk today." I think that sums up your situation
