Is it lame to send a facebook message to a guy I like?
I like this guy, I want to talk to him, but I never see him and I don't have his number. Would it be lame if I sent him a message through facebook asking how he's doing and seeing if he maybe wants to hang out some time. What do I do if he never replies?

It wouldn't be lame to message the guy you like on the internet via facebook.
Its a open... then you can ask him to hangout n stuff. I'm sure he will reply at least once.
If he never replies then maybe he doesn't want to hangout... who cares... not your loss
there are so many fish in the sea and you just have to use the correct bait..

Depends on how close you are with him. If you guys talk IRL occasionally then that's okay. But if you don't know him he could think it's a little weird that you're asking him.

Under you circumstances, no it's not lame. If he never replies, get his number from a friend, but don't seem like a stalker. Answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...850AAOpQJh

No but if you guys have never talked before, he might decline your offer as he probably doesn't know anything about you....I say just wait until you see him in person

I say try talking to him in person first, then after even a small conversation you can message him.
Things tend to be more awkward if they're started on the internet just because there is no real first impression, which is often key. Do you really want the first impression this guy has of you that you're the type of person that would hide behind cyberspace to talk?
