I used a twitter account to make the current avatar.

Yahoo! Answers will not let me change my avatar anymore.

How can I resolve this issue?

You CANNOT resolve this issue UNTIL the Yahoo IT engineers and technicians fix the glitches with avatars and uploading photographs as avatars. No matter how many times a save my avatar since the MIDDLE OF JULY, it DOES NOT CHANGE. YOU cannot resolve the problem. You have found a reliable work around, so go with that. Avatar glitches are at the bottom of Yahoo's "things to fix" list.
