i think your overthinking this. if you got annoyed wit every girl he added on facebook how many people would you be p*****ed at. alot im assuming. i dont think its flirting, and if you cant trust your boyfriend, maybe you should be questionining your relationship with him instead of other girls.

It's possible he was friends with her and then got assigned the project.

This project is something he takes interest in, and she shares this interest, leading to a growth in the friendship.

Then she talks about not finding a boyfriend because she feels secure enough to tell him information of this sort.

He could jump for the phone because it's about the project and again is keen to talk about it.

I can't explain the gaps in the text conversing however if they've added each other on facebook.
You could sign in on his facebook and read private messages occasionally, if you don't know the password and really desperate, try a key log. I'd suggest it's inadvisable to let him catch you doing this as that might break the relationship down.

I sound similar to him though, i do everything and anything for my girlfriend, she says jump off a cliff, i do it (with a wing suit, was fun). I was also cheated on, and so i myself would never put anyone through what it feels like, i don't think many other would either.

Overall it's plausible that they're good friends bonding over a keen interest in the undergoing project, again the only thing i can't explain is the gaps in the messages.

Good luck

Of course you have the right to worry about your boyfriend cheating you. You love him and don't wanna lose him. From what you've told, it seems that he's more likely to be interested in her. Sure he may have been cheated before but that doesn't mean that he won't cheat. Though he seems to be interested in her I don't think they are going out behind your back. I think you should talk to him about this.
