how to make a guy regret rejecting you?
I asked my guy friend to be my escort for prom whom I've liked for 4 years and he basically said he couldn't because he liked someone and he didnt want them to get a wrong idea about us. I thought we were friends, since I've known him since grade 8, but guess not. Please help. We barely talked in two years but people said he obviously liked me.. How do I make him regret it? I'm already working out to improve my confidence. Anything ELSE I CAN DO? We are friends on facebook . Help?

Find someone else and be happy, gets them every time. Just don't use that new person, make sure you actually do genuinely care about them.

Accept he doesn't want you and move on. Or sleep with his best friend. Your choice.

Go on with your life, don't let it bother you, and don't pay any attention to him. He's obviously not a very good friend if he would care about appearances and what it would look like to this other girl. Go your own way and one day he'll realize his mistake.

That's just sophomoric and childish to go completely out of your way to make him regret not being your escort to prom. If he simply didn't want to, WHY force the issue and make it so that he changes his mind and mentality about the whole situation? That's completely greedy on your part to demand that out of him. Respect his wishes, as you would want somebody to respect yours and move on. Everything happens for a reason so don't let it get you down and do something that may jeopardize your friendship with him as a whole.

go with someone else because your happiness make the other person jealous all the time (unless they honestly don't give a fuck about you). but like the other person said, don't use your other friend. make sure you care about the other person too because for all you know, the other friend might like you!

This probably isn't what you want to hear. Oh well.
Trying to make him regret rejecting you is bad for two reasons.
First and foremost, the whole idea of it shows that you are wrapped up in what this guy thinks of you. I know you might have feelings for him but it sounds like he's just into someone else right now, and I hate to say it but when that happens there isn't much you can do. You can either keep him friend zoned and try to preserve what you have, or you can distance yourself from him (i.e. stop talking to him as much, or altogether) and wait it out while you try things out with other guys.
If you only like him as a friend then I think you should let him pursue his romantic interest. I know I wouldn't have wanted to go to prom with a girl I was "just friends" with in high school. Prom is generally thought of as a romantic event.
The second reason I think trying to make him regret rejecting you is a bad idea is that it will almost definitely backfire. When someone does something like this it makes them look selfish and immature, and he'll probably just label you as another crazy girl instead of actually regretting anything (this is the typical high school male mentality). Just try to relax and have a good time at prom. I wish I hadn't got caught up in so much stupid drama in high school. You'll never get these years back so try to take it in your stride and stay positive Smile

Hi from France ♫

If the guy rejected you because of he didn't like you well, you will never make him to have regrets ! Moreover it is not like that you can improve your confidence.. If you have a low confidence, just do a work on you, psychologically speaking.. Do it with a Psychoanalyst, since they are specialized for that, contrary to the other therapists / psychologists..

Have a nice day

Cat.
