How do you make a game like Pet Society on Facebook?

I played this game and I just loved it so much! I was so inspired but its popularity & how fun & addicting it is, I just thought I wonder what it would be like to make a game like this.

Does anyone know how to make a game/application that goes on myspace & facebook? Or does anyone know where I can learn how to make it? Please help if you do! Thanks Bye!

making a game, let alone one like this, is a ridiculous amount of work. you have to program in code, do tremendous amounts of editing... long story short, it's not a recreational activity. if it really interests you, it's a profession. but don't count on making a runescape style game in your free time, it's very difficult and time consuming.

On facebook you need to work with the facebook api. There are some books to get you started but that is lot's of work even for someone that is used to it.
