Not just Facebook. Texting, e-mail, cell phones, all have changed dating. I came of age during the early nineties when none of this stuff was available, and now I'm back on the dating scene again, so I can really see the difference. Back in the day you got a phone call after a date and that was all. And usually the guy took his time about calling you...you expected to wait until Thursday if you had a date on Saturday, that was an unwritten rule. Now when you're dating someone you're in constant contact...texting them all day, etc. You can log onto Facebook and find where they are and who they're interacting with...and if you break up with an ex or like a guy, you can spy on him and find out everything about him ( depending on his privacy settings) including whether or not he has a girlfriend, and often, what she looks like. Dating has changed a lot.

Facebook is not the place where you meet the love of your life. And if it is... Then that's kinda sad... You should meet the person you love while doing something you love, or in school, or when you're out and about. Not on Facebook, I doubt that's love.

Not exactly, but it can be. You can meet the love of your life in many unexpected ways. Could be a best friend that you've known for years and all of a sudden you realize you're in love with them. Or it could be someone you met accidentally while you bumped into them. It can happen in many ways, it just sometimes takes a while to find. Dating has changed in this new age of technology because now and days, it's not so hard to get in a girl's pants. It's easy to find someone you have a lot in common with, but it's hard to find someone who you can feel this weird but amazing thing called love for.
