By downloading on your fancy new iPad edition 3.2, using Nepsilon new USB flashdrive 9.2, then logging into the ever-so popular Twitter.com, wow, you are so trendy arent you?? Then transfer those useless meaningless twits into the fancy Apple product you cant live without, oh maybe you will trade that after 4 more months though, right?

Copy and paste individual tweets to a text file, and save the file to your hard disk.

2
Use a basic tweet backup service to index and download up to 3,200 of your most recent tweets as a spreadsheet (such as Excel) or PDF (such as Adobe Reader). You will enter your Twitter user name and password through Twitter OAuth to securely grant the service permission to access your tweets. See the Resources for some tweet backup services.

3
Use a tweet synchronization service to index your tweets on a rolling basis. As with a basic tweet backup service, you will be able to download your tweets as a spreadsheet or PDF. In addition, a tweet synchronization service will keep copies of all previously indexed tweets so that no tweets will disappear from this point forward. See the Resources for some tweet synchronization services.

4
Use a saved tweet search archive service to continually index a specific Twitter search. Services like these are not limited to searching your own tweets. For example, if you want to save all future tweets containing the phrase "San Diego Comic Convention," the hashtag "#comic-con" or the user name "@comic_con," you can do so using a saved search archive service. As with tweet backup and synchronization services, you can download and save files containing the results. See the Resources for some saved tweet search archive services.
