Can I like a page on facebook without receiving their status updates?
I have "liked" some pages on facebook or added myself as a fan. Is it possible to have these likes stay in your profile but not continue to receive their status updates?

Put the mouse over the update and a little x will show up to the right....click on that and click "hide"
