Is it weird that I delete my facebook statuses if no one likes or comments on them?

I don't know...I feel like facebook is just one big popularity contest and that if people see that my statuses don't get any feedback, they'll think I'm a loser or something. :/ Is it weird? Oh, and I'm in high school so in some cases, it probably IS a popularity contest.

If you delete them it'll just look like it bothered you. Just don't update your status as often.

Make it crazy, good, funny or entertaining.
Post 1-2 perday at a maximum.

Don't get caught up on if people comment on your statuses or not. It's not weird to do that, but why bother to do it. No one will think you a loser just because no one comments on a status of yours. Relax.

You should take a break from making status updates until you realize it is all fun and that it shouldn't bother you. It is getting too emotional for you.

Many of my statuses are not commented on. But I don't care and move on. I usually just update once or twice a week. I have more fun commenting on other people's statuses.
