best way is to just let it go. But...if you really wanna do something get her some flowers and chocolate. Write her poem. Make her something...bake her somethin. Only you can decide on what will help the situation.

At least you apologised! most kids don't, so you're on the right track..

Just explain to her that you were angry and it slipped out! you seem like you do actually regret it, and she'll realise you're saying from your heart and not just making stuff up.. Just tell her you feel terrible for saying it!
She's your mum and she'll understand over time, don't worry, just keep on telling the truth and everything will be okay!

Your mom has been through the cituation you're in right now. I'm a parent myself and there are things we do not understand until we get older or have our own kids. It's a love you cannot understad, you don't want your baby to get hurt or led the wrong way. I understad your mom and I understand you too. Is that friend that called your mom stupid the one you were going out with? Will you call their mom the same? If the answer is no, most likely your mom is doing a great job raising you. Just get your mom to know your friends better, sometimes is just a sense of insecurity and that's normal. If you want to make it up to her just be more obedient than you already are. Even God ignores many of our faults and does not keep his favor from us when we're obedient. It may sound like it sucks, but try it and you'll see. Don't judge your mom cuz she may be seeing something you don't see. If you ever ask mom forgive me for this fault, she' ll probably say which fault? Be happy now, you can't change the past, but can improve the future.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I know no one who has not, at one time or another, blurted out something they instantaneously wished they could take back,

That is what the academic dope slap was invented for. You don't know what the academic dope slap is? That's when you smack yourself forcefully on your forehead when you realize you've just said something that makes you look silly in the eyes of another. It is usually accompanied by thought "Why did I say that? Duh!!!!" We all do it. Some of us, too often.

Your mother, being older, wiser and more experienced, knows this. As is true for all of us, she too can remember when it was she falling prey to this human frailty as none of us is perfect all the time. Let her know that you now know how stupid it was of you to call her stupid -- and even more stupid for going public with it.. Show her your sincerity in not repeating your mistake in the future. In short, provide her the opportunity to forgive you for simply being human.

Share with her The Optimists Creed which will be revealed to you by clicking on what follows and vow to live by it with her.
