How could I start a convosation with this boy I like on Facebook?

We have 5 lessons together a week and we talk a lot of the time through them and we talk at break and lunch too. I'd say we are fairly good friends and I 'like' him in that way. I'm not sure if he likes me back like that. I really wanna talk to him on Facebook but I don't know how to start the convosation without regretting what I say because I do that a lot! I also don't want it to be awkward like the last time I talked to him on there.
Also should I put a kiss (xx) at the end of the Facebook message if I get the courage to talk to him?

Just talk to him like you normally would if you were in school. Don't be shy. You know him, after all. Don't over think it because then you might say something to turn him off.

What I do, is say, "Did we have homework in *insert class*?" And then when he answers just say oh thanks and continue with the conversation by saying soo what's up? And stuff like that. Hope I helped!

Ok I was in the same position almost with a girl who was talking to me & I thought she's cool and cute lol I started off texting her (I was nervous) but just went and put a text to her "Hey " she replied "Heey'" in the same minute & she was already online : ) haa & I texted " Hey lol wyd?" & from there we conversated & a tip just don't be nervous & think of a text that's complicated just be your cool self & like nothing that will make school worse between u two but betr.
