Why are all these pervs requesting to follow me on twitter?

I never use my twitter to sign up for anything, my tweets are protected, my profile pick is of me from the neck up, my status is 'hi', my name isn't naughty, non of my friends follow these people....

So why, oh why are all these pervs requesting to follow me?

A lot of people on Twitter expect a follow back. Whenever someone asks me to follow back I simply say "sorry, don't follow back" and if you put that in your bio, they'll get the point.
I'd prefer for people to follow me because they like my tweets, not because THEY gain a follower.
