My fiance keeps calling me Graceful (read to understand)?
My fiance calls me Graceful all the time not to describe me like "oh she looks so Graceful" but as if to call me "Graceful" kind of like how guys call their fiance's "babe" "baby" "love" that type of thing but he calls me "Graceful" instead anything he posts on twitter or instagram about it it will be like "Going to lunch with Graceful #love" and if we take a picture he'll will caption it "with Graceful #picture" and such. I mean what does it mean? Is it affectionate? I'm not danty or tiny I'm an average sized 24 year old woman. Would you women like that type of pet name? :C

I don't get how this is your fiance and you can't ask HIM why he calls you that. In case you haven't heard, communication is important in marriage, so get practicing improving yours now!

I don't know why he does it but I have a habit myself of making up pet names for people and sometimes they find them offensive or annoying. If you tell him you don't like it, he should get the idea. I always respect people's wishes if they are annoyed or embarrassed by whatever I decide to call them.

Graceful usually is used when describing a physical attribute, like that dancer is graceful. It means that you have fluidity in your motions and a certain smooth way you carry on your physical self. It doesn't mean anything bad. Being graceful means that you just carry yourself in a very good way physically. Your in tune to your body and your movements and your body just knows what to do. You're rarely a klutz and do everything with your body almost effortlessly.

It could be an innocent pet name such as lovers give to each other. However, I think you are uncomfortable with Graceful for you see it as sarcasm, because of your size 24. You are also concerned that other people will know it's sarcasm and be laughing at you. Have a quiet talk with your man; tell him how you feel, and suggest another pet name (maybe "Cutie" but not "Fats"). If this fails, you should come up with a sarcastic pet name for him, and use it in company. See how he likes that.
((PS: Not to scare you, but some guys dwell on pet names for their women all the time. This way they never make the grave error of calling out a wrong name that actually belongs to the "other woman".))
