which is the difference between “become a fan“ and “Like this“ in a facebook page??

why facebook changed become a fan for like this?? is the same thing???
I´ll be really thankfull if someone could answer me this.

They did away with become a fan in favor of like this.

Earlier on,there was both "become a fan" which was meant for celebs or famous stuff,and "like this" for common stuff.but now it's only "like this" for everyone,so facebook has just taken away "become a fan".thats all.

It's exactly the same thing, they just changed the name of it because people were creating pages that weren't to do with celebs or anything you could realistically "become a fan" of. For example, "I have an ipod" is not something you can become a fan of, but is something you can like.
