Why is Facebook telling me that I'm using an invalid email address?
Hello. I am trying to create a Facebook page for my small business. I'm filling out the small form for my business name and email address but as soon as I click submit/next, I'm getting an error message saying that I'm using an invalid email address. I am sure I am not as everything is spelled correctly - even copied and pasted it. How can I fix this?
It is a name using rocketmail. I wonder if I could change it after I sign up with another email address. Ads |

This could be because your email address starts with something generic like info@ or webmaster@. Since these email addresses are typically used for organizations and businesses, we don’t allow them to be used for personal Facebook accounts. Try signing up for Facebook with your personal email address.
If you want to represent your business or organization, try creating a Page. Quoted from Facebook's help section. Ads |
