Is boxing at a possible turning point in terms of PPV match ups etc?

If everyone who proposes boycotting/not watching etc fights actually lives up to that promise there will be some unhappy TV company guys. If for instance people vote with their wallets and dont watch Pac-Margarito, dont watch Haye-Harrison, dont watch whoever Floyd fights next and please dont pay to watch another BHop fight then what choice do promoters have but to be more ambitious and have not just better match-ups but better all round events.

What happened to 10 fight nights where the undercards could end up being for a legit alphabet title? Now we are treated to maybe two 4 round fights, an 8 rounder, an undercard which fails to excite and a farcical main event.

I would say I am left dissapointed with more than 60% of PPV fight events.

Boxing is slowly losing touch. The kids now that want to be fighters are trying to aspire into being K-1 Fighters of UFC Fighters (Kickboxing and MMA). Boxing's medial displays are losing touch with the new "Tech Generation" Where K-1 and UFC have youtube channels/twitter/facebook to constantly update fans. Boxing needs to get out of the bronze age and into the "Tech age". HBO's 24/7 is doing a good job at this BUT, not everyone has HBO. UFC uses SPIKE (Every TV package comes with it) and K-1 is played on like 3 different channels in Europe. In order for boxing PPV's to increase, it needs to connect with the fans more.

In addition, boxing is becoming more of a "How much money can we make this event!" then "What would the fans want to see?"
