I need help talking to the guy I like on facebook?

Okay so there is this guy i like and i don't have any classes with him and im pretty sure he has almost know idea who i am but we are friends on facebook. I see him some times in the hallway but that's it. Is there anyway i could talk to him on facebook without sounding like a total creep? Because i know if some random guy i had never talked to before suddenly started a conversation with me on facebook i would think he is a total stalker.

Some guy i didnt know added me on fb and i first i thought it was odd.

8 months later were still dating.

Just say "Hey have we met" "I think I have seen you around at (INSERT SCHOOL HERE) then just start chatting. Whats the big deal? You go to the same school or whatever its not like you have no connection.

Instead of talking to him immediately, why don't you try experimenting around with like a few comments or 'likes' here and there.
For example, if he posts a song or something or a status, like it or comment on it.
Orrr you could see if you guys have some thing in common, and do something that'll provoke his attention. For example, post a song and hope he notices so at least he realizes you guys listen to the same band, etc.
It doesnt have to be exactly that, but you get the gist.

You need to initiate something like that before talking to him if you've never spoken to him before. Just to like 'break the ice' or make yourself known
