So a couple months ago I met this guy through my best friend because they're cousins. When we first started talking it was really obvious he liked me. But then things slowed up and we started to drift because we go to different school's. We started going like a week without texting and when we did talk it wasn't lasting. So I was just like whatever.. maybe he likes someone else.. I'm gonna give up for now. Then last week he made a twitter and he followed me. And I got a notification saying he favorited one of my tweets from 2 weeks ago which was a picture of me. I went through his favorites and saw another one of my tweets there.. which was a picture I posted of myself on friday.

It's been a few weeks since we talked so 2 nights ago I tweeted him saying hey, I asked how he was doing and what not. And it seemed like he was sad based on his other tweets. So I asked how his day was and said he seemed sad. He said he kinda was but it was whatever. So I told him to smile and that if he needed someone to talk to, he could text me. And he said "thanks Smile

". And he favorited a couple of those tweets. But he didn't text me. I just wanted him to know I care and I'm always here for him. But now who knows when we'll talk again.

I honestly don't know. He will probably come around after a while and text you if he feels ready but other than that you've been pretty solid. Maybe text him first a few times, make the effort and if he never makes any effort it might not be worth your time. I heard this quote "You have to love yourself to love someone else" So maybe he needs to sort out his own problems like his reasons for depression.
Once that's all sorted out maybe something might happen then. If you really want to just get with him lol dropping a few hints or just telling him how you feel might help him to ask you out. He could just think you're like out of his league and be depressed that you don't like him back. It's hard to know.
