Kind of, it's just the "Status update" that says "So and so is....." and then you can fill in whatever you're doing. There's also Facebook chat now, and I think that might have an away message feature.

Yeah, just update the status. Or tell your friends who you're talking to, that you'll be right back.

With Facebook chat, you can either stay online, or go offline, but if you update your status, it updates in the chat window, which is kind of like an away message.
