how do i sync my twitter account to my phone? i have facebook on my phone and i get status updates like texts. how do i do the same with twitter?

Hi. I'll try and answer the best way I can.

1.) # means that it is a hashtag. These things are used for twitter's search engine(i.e. #ilikepie).
2.) @ is a mention. You use these things to communicate with someone on there(i.e. @russofficial).
3.) Go to Twiter home>Settings>Mobile and you'll know the rest.
