How do update my group's status on facebook?

I've just made a group on facebook and have just under 100 fans, but i don't know how to message all my fans? I don't want to send them a private message, more like a statues update? I've seend other groups do it but i don't know how i can? I know there's the message all members but that's in a private message i think.

just type in the comment box on your page, itll come out as your status not as a comment
