Why has this girl completely stopped talking to me? Help?

About a week ago i met this girl (she goes to my local high school) at first we just talked when we where bored. But over time friendship began to form and we talked more and more (6 hour conversation on Face Book ^_^) it got to a point where we both liked each other a lot. It was true, she liked me for my personality looks had absolutely nothing to do with it. Her best girl friends however said she shouldn't be with me (i've had some scandal with them in the past -__-) but even though they said that she still said she liked me for me. So about 2 days later she completely stops talking to me (which i thought was a little weird) and when she finally does talk to me i ask her, "When your friends said you shouldn't be with me where you gonna listen". Short answer she said yes she will always listen to her sisters (best girl friends) and after that she said we should just be friends, i was kinda mad since in all reality she was listening to there will not hers. I told her it was her choice and i won't try to change what she wants, ever since this event she hasn't talked to me once.....at all its as if she has forgotten i existed. Why has she completely stopped talking to me, when a few days ago before any of this happen she would talk to me all day everyday. I'm not saying she should talk to me all day everyday though but she has had next to no contact with me since this incident and this happened about 4-5 days ago. Do you have any idea why she might be completely ignoring me and if so is it worth it to keep on trying to talk to her?
I'm in 8th Grade she is in 9th Grade.
Conversation went something like this
Me: If you always listen to your sisters then i guess that means you're not gonna go out with me in the future.
Girl: Why dnt we be friends
Me: Because you said you liked & loved me before. But if you just wanna be friends its ok.
Girl: Ik but my sisters dnt approve n stuff but yeah
Me: Its your choice i'm not gonna force you to do something you don't wanna do.
Girl: Okk:// thk u tho

That really sucks dude.. I would say its probably not worth it because she seems really immature and you probably want to date someone who can make their own choices and don't need constant input from their friends.

she probably stopped talking to you because exactly like you said, her friends told her to. girls in HS are mean and would probably give her crap if she kept talking to you. have you send her a message on facebook? i dont think its worth trying to keep talking to her. move on to someone else who isnt going to listen to what everyone thinks she should do.

Some people are way to influenced by their friends. They haven't got a back bone. If I was you, I'd just leave her be for now and she may realise she was happier talking to you. If she listens to everything other people say and not how she feels then she isn't very mature.

Try to make peace with her sisters. Yes, you may not get a chance to date her, but at least you will be able to be looked on in a new light in their eyes.
