Lost a guy friend over something stupid, pls read?

Okay so I'm gonna call him Joe. Joe and I have been friends since the beginning of this year. We met online though but we had a lot in common so he gave his number so I can text him and all that. We started to text like everyday and one day in March, he said he wanted to hear my voice. Like when he would call I would ignore.I was kind of nervous cause I haven't seen him so I was like >.< and I told him I was awkward on the phone & I am. So he let that slide off and continued texting. So like in July, we finally talked on the phone thanks to help of my friend. It was kind of weird since my friend was on the line though and he would complain that he only wanted to talk to me. And this lead to our first fight. After like three days of talking to him with my friend, he texted me that he didn't want to be my friend anymore cus I don't talk. Soooo we didn't talk for like three weeks & he apologized (I don't know why I accepted his apology) But after that, when we would text, out of nowhere he would say bye or ttyl so i stopped talking to him for like two months. And FINALLY, we started like talking again in October. And he said he kind of liked me so yeah. And ever since then, he has been wanting to call me and I told him the real reason why I never pick up because I'm shy so he understood. But for some reason, yesterday, he texted me and was like, Can I call? I told him I was doing homework. So then he's like, Ttyl. Then two seconds later, Bye . I didn't know how to respond cause I didn't even know why he was doing that. And I just woke up and he sent me a mssg saying that he was going to be block me on Facebook. Okay I just want to know what did I do wrong. Is it because I never called him?I don't know

It doesn't seem like you did any thing wrong so don't blame yourself. He may have felt like you didn't like him or wanted to be his friend a little because when he would ask to call u, u would ignore him n y'all first time talking on the phone someone else was on it with y'all n he may have wanted to break your shyness but couldn't cause your friend was on the phone. But you seem pretty caring of others feelings but I hope my answer helps you a little #some people doesn't like having others on the phone cause it sometimes throw off what he /she wanted to say just to u :-)

Sounds to me like he wants a relationship with you and he's trying to have more contact with you. Every time you don't answer his calls and won't talk to him on the phone, he probably feels like your not interested in him. I know your shy but you have to decide what he means to you, and if you want him your going to have to overcome the shyness. Good luck with everything
