How can I get my mom to stop?
My mon has a MAYJOR Facebook addiction and im tired of it!She has a droid phone and every time I see her on it I just wanna rip it out of her hands and smash it!You could be sitting there saying "mom, mom, mom, mom" and she won't freaking answer!I sometimes wonder what's more important to her her stupid gay facebook and phone or her family.I mean I have a Facebook but I get on once in a while not on forever and off everyonce in a while. And really truth is that's what's killing my parents marriage every time you look at her she has her phone or the laptop! And I can't just smash them because I'll be in some deep trouble....can you just tell me how to get her off her stupid Facebook and also I just tried to tell her off but she won't listen and if you say "you've been on for hours GET OFF!" she will say "um I've been on for 5 minutes so back off" I mean she denies it!....Please help :/

Give her laptop a huge porn virus so it crashes and put water in her phone so it short circuits

This will be hard, but if you actually want a real change you need to say this "Mom, I have something serious that I need to discuss with you." then once she is actually paying attention to you say "I feel like I am being ignored by you, I feel it is the constant use of Facebook, I rarely get any time with you anymore." it is important to use "I" statements so it doesn't sound like you are accusing her or stepping out of line. also it might really hit home if you say "I don't want to see my parents get a divorce because of a compulsive use of technology."

Just stop reacting to her addiction. She will get disgusted with it after some time. It is a pity you cannot wean away persons away from this addiction your own way, but it will wear off on its own. Just don't bother about her and spoil your mood. Ignore her and she will come around. Talk to your Dad about it.
