How do I make "liking" mandatory of facebook?

I'm creating a fan page on Facebook, and I'd like to make it mandatory for people to "like" the page before viewing content. However, I can't figure out how to do that using the facebook page settings. Can you explain to me how to do it, or if I have to use an outside application?

Hi,

Funny you should ask this, as it was a question I posed to the company (onizumarketing) that are helping me with my Facebook fan page.

Basically, you can't really force anyone to like your page! However, it is possible to use Facebook's new iFrame function to setup your page so that people land on a certain tab on your fan page.

You would then make another tab that contains the content/info you want restricted. This 'hidden' tab, would then only become accessible once someone has liked your page.

This process does require some coding and knowledge of html would be helpful so you can setup your iFrame properly.

Its also worth mentioning that Facebook are making some changes so that 1st October, Fan pages that are not setup correctly, will stop working so it's in your best interest to get setup correctly from the beginning.
