Facebook and MySpace fan sites, hurting the new business people of your time?
So, if you were an emerging business, and you had a website, and you/someone else opened a Facebook/Myspace account or fan page about that site or business; Google/Yahoo would prob. index them over yours and you get a nofollow link added to your Myspace/Facebook page. T or F? Is that fair?

Nope.

Google doesn't index Facebook fan pages, and they wouldn't index a MySpace page over an official site. In fact, it looks like Facebooking your business is a good idea: http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/17/smbusine.../index.htm
