Help! I've got a twitter addiction!?

I am very addicted to twitter. I can never seem to keep my phone in my pocket for 10 minutes without checking for tweets or even tweeting. It interrupts with college and my actual social life.
Got any ways on how to beat a twitter addiction??

simple delete your account. you can live without it.

Secondly, twitter is relatively new, you had a life before it.
Try talking to actual people instead, or join a club or get a busy job

I think you should just try to focus on other things than twitter, if your addicted to checking for celeb tweets then it might be harder but if its just friends then you can tell them to tweet you later. Set goals for yourself not to use twitter and focus more on your college and social life you need to.

I will not tell you to delete or deactivate your twitter account because i think in your situation it's something impossible,but you can try another way , maybe DO NOT activate your 3G services ? this way you will only check on WIFI or through PC in home or something , by time you will be less addicted. good luck !
