Theres this girl in class that I LIKE. I saw her looking at me a couple of times but I dont know if it was out of interest or if it was just because she looks around the class, because at times she seems out of it. but I Like her. I decided to man up and walked up to her and said hi when is your birthday, then I said do you have a facebook I could hit you up in case I am absent and need the work?
She said she forgot her facebook and instead gave me her email.
Did I f up by just saying I want it for in case im absent? which isnt the truth.
this is a college class. i only see her 2 times a week

She gave you her email dude. You now have some sort of contact with her. So no you didn't fuck it up. Unless she was like hesitant about giving you her email, then you might have an issue. But you probably should have asked for her number. Just remember, girls like a man who is confident in themselves. That doesn't mean be conceited and brag about yourself. Just show her that you're a confident good guy. Oh and don't be too smothering. Girls want some kind of challenge, so don't email (or text) her all the time. Just say hi with a warming smile every once in a while when she walks into class or if you see her in the hallway. That'll get her thinking. Good luck mate! Hope all goes well!
