Is it common for random people to add you to facebook to join their mafia on mafia wars?

I just recently started playing Mafia Wars on Facebook. I "became a fan of Mafia Wars" then all the sudden I started getting lots of people adding me to their Facebook to join their mafia. I'm not that familiar with Mafia Wars yet so I just wanted to know is this common? Or should I not trust these people?

yes its is dont worry and add them as well

yes because they want to expand their mob for missions and money and make friends sometimes. its fun to join bigger mobs, you can do more

1 - I would add anyone initially and then filter out the ones which are working and the ones that arn't
2 - You should read how the top players do it, you will be able to spend you time better learning it

This happens a lot on games on Facebook. I've got tons of random people on my friends list that I've *acquired* through games such as Mafia Wars, Pirates and FarmTown.
Whether or not you trust these people is entirely up to you. I've never had any problems with the people I've added this way as we all have the same goal I suppose of having a large mafia/crew/neighbours so we can all play the higher levels on these games.

Yes ,don't worry, it is normal.
There are even Mafia Wars Groups that you can add your Mafia wars profile so that you can get invites.

It is advisable that you get as many players to your Mafia so that your mafia will be stronger when you are attacked.
