How can a company utilize corporate philanthropy and green marketing to affect consumers’ decisions about the company’s products, services, or image?
Examples or anything useful information would be nice. Thank you.

Many companies, because of consumers are going green. People are caring more about the environment and companies can capitalize on this by stating that they're eco-friendly. We're seeing this more and more with companies even using the recycle symbol on certain products.

These separate, piece-meal initiatives on their own are unlikely to influence consumer perception of a company's products or a company's image dimensions. They need to be incorporated within an over-arching Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy or Corporate Sustainability Strategy. This is because a well-executed CSR strategy will embrace all stakeholders e.g. staff, shareholders, customers, local residents etc and has a much better chance of awareness breakthrough.

Best Regards
