"Friends for Sale" on facebook?

Can someone please explain what the point is of "Friends for sale" on facebook? I don't get it. I don't even play that game or whatever it is but I keep getting notifications from facebook that someone has bought me on Friends for sale. It sounds bad like your friends are trying to sell you. There are about 5 men who keep "buying" me from each other and I don't even know who some of them are. Some are not my facebook friends, so how can they buy me? And just now, some woman just bought me! What the heck is the point of this game? Is it supposed to be good or bad when someone buys you or sells you? please explain, it seems a little weird that complete strangers are looking at my picture and "buying " me...

FFS is an application on Facebook. The point of the game is to earn as much money as you can and to purchase pets. Anybody can buy you on that application as long as they have enough money. It's a good thing when somebody else buys you because it just goes to show how popular you are.

Yea thats very strange when some stranger starts buying you in that game just because he/she likes your profile picture .

The game is a facebook application , was quite interesting a few months back but now its kinda dead.

You should go to the application and click "block application" ,that will stop the notifications and removed you from the game so no one will be able to but/sell you.

go to the applications home page , see at the extreme left hand side there is a option "block application".
