Is there any way to make money off of facebook aplications?

I have a great idea for a facebook application that I know everyone would use.....Is there any way I can make money off of this?

you normally make money off of the ads. you will notice on applications on facebook there are ads that go with them. the creators get money for people who click on the ads. thats why they always want you to share it with your friends. its all about getting more people looking at ads and making more money.

you can't make money off facebook applications , they are all free for users to use. i don't know of a single one that we have to pay for .

Yeah, there is. I think the reason most companies make up Applications is so they can bulk up their "Mailing Lists" for advertising. This is considered pretty valuable, considering you gave them permission when signing up - so they are free to "spam" you however often they want until you opt-out.

Also, you can promote your application through ads. Ask people to purchase ad space on your application. You can also sell the information to companies if the application allows you to collect information that they would be interested in.
