I CAN NOT DELETE MY MESSAGE ON TWITTER!! HELP!!?

Someone please help me, i can not delete my direct messages on twitter, and i really need to when i try to the trash can does not appear. there is becoming to many messages and its making my twitter really slow and not letting me tweet anything. And when i try to tweet something my computer freezes and i have to restart my computer. my computer isn't the problem bc i've tried it on other computers.

I suggest using a different browser you shouldn't have to delete messages that's not slowing your computer down what might be happening if you might have a virus try clearing your cache run your virus program and try again
