What is the difference between blocking & unfriending on fb?
I have a friend that I have been getting notifications from and seeing all activity. All of the sudden I stop getting any notifications. He is still on my friends list. I can still go to his page. It just looks like he has not added anything further on his page since I stopped recieving notifications. If he has done one of these to me, can he still get all my stuff? Please explain the difference..

If you Block someone: they will no longer be able to find you at all on facebook so it will practically be like if you dont have one to that person.Vs.if you Unfriend someone they can still preview your FB page and then they will know that you unfriended them.

Unfriending is not being in his list or what so ever but he's still in your friendslist you say so that isn't it i guess.
Blocking is that you see no activity of that person ( i'm not sure you can still visit the page)

Obviously theyre still your friend, it just seems that he put you under "exceptions" when you customize who can see things on their profile either that or he just put evrything where only he or certain ppl can see. If he unfriended you,you wouldnt even see anything and youd have to add him again. If he blocked you, you couldnt add him at all or even see his prrofile on fb when you look him up.

Blocking someone automatically includes unfriending that person. Once you block someone on Facebook, this person can no longer be your friend, interact, or communicate with you in any way, except within applications and games you both use. Since blocking is mutual, when you block someone, you and this person won't be able to:

- See each other's profiles
- Find each other through the Facebook search box
- See each other in the list of friends of your mutual friends
