How to disable game requests on facebook?

There are a few people who constantly send me these stupid game requests on facebook.. and it's really starting to p*ss me off.. so far I've gone onto notification settings, and unchecked the little letter symbol.. and it says disabled emails for this notification type.. does that mean I will no longer get requests? If not please explain what I need to do, thanks a lot!!

When you exit out of the sent request there should be a little link to block all requests for the game. look for that next time it happens.
