Why is my laptop doing this? NO ABUSE OR TROLLING.?

So, my laptop got a virus on it, and my best friend came over to my house and fixed it. It was working fine after she'd fixed it, but lately,on the bar at the bottom of my laptop where the start menu is, the volume button etc, a little flag icon comes up with a red cross next to it, and it says 3 PC Issues. I clicked it and a list came up saying Virus Protection (Important) and Windows will install updates as schelduded (Important). I clicked them, and tried to sort them out but it didn't work. It won't let me watch videos on YouTube, it won't let me view anything on Facebook (My profile, notifications etc), it will only let me play games and go on Google Images etc. What's wrong with it?

could be malware. Get Malwarebytes anti Malware and do a full scan. If its not that, then get this, Microsoft Security Essentials and run a full scan. After each full scan, remove all the possible threats if any were listed, then do a full reset.
