How does "compare people" on facebook work?

Ok people I'm having some trouble

I'm a new facebook user, I signed up a few days ago, and I just added the Compare People application.

So first, I invited 20 of my friends

Then I started blindly answering some of the questions.

There's this girl I like at my school, and so I was answering some of the dating questions with her.

When I was done, I noticed on my profile that everybody could see that I had rated her top for some of the various dating questions, and now I'm freaking out cause I dont want her to noe I like her.

so here are my questions.

Will people who look at my profile be able to tell how I rated her? How do I change this?
Will the girl get notification about how I rated her? how can I avoid this?

finally, will somebody please just clearly explain to me how this annoying thing works?

I would just take it off, but for some reason, when I take it off (and put it back on to see if everything was erased) everything that I voted stays!!!!!!

I recently downloaded that program too, and this is what I know about it so far:

Sorry, but I think yes, the girl will know how you rated her. I know this because I downloaded that application because I received a notification that one of my friends had included me on their "compare people" list. After I downloaded it, it showed up on my profile what my friends had voted me for. Since I received the notification from her, I assume she's the same person who voted for me.

So the girl will receive a notification from you and assuming she has brains, if she downloads the application and sees what her friends most recently voted her, she can assume that you're the one who voted for her. Unless maybe she has lots of notifications and has lots of things her friends "voted her as," in which case it's only a guessing game about who voted what!

I think there's some kind of "private" link so you can vote for people privately, but I'm not sure where it is. The program doesn't seem to be designed very well!

If people click on your profile, I doubt they can tell who you voted for what. The girl will probably know because she received a notification from you. Hope this somewhat helps

no worries, i had the same thing happen to me. turns out that it shows the top rated people in your network(which means you are not the only person who likes that girl. Also, you can't tell who rated you(trust me iv'e tried).
