How do I get a guy on Facebook?

First off, I'm not the kind of girl who goes liking every cute guy's picture she sees and poking 5 boys a day...I never approach guys on Facebook. I'm very picky and I like them to approach me, in person. But I feel this is different and I need suggestions.

I'm a cheerleader and during an away basketball game I noticed a player. I was immediately attracted to him, I just loved the way he handled himself. Later that night we went back home and my girlfriends and I joked about how cute he was. etc. I forgot about him.

About 3 weeks later, we had a home game and I saw him again and all of those initial attractions came back and I decided I had to talk to him. That night the team was rushed to the bus to get back before the weather became nasty. So I didn't get a chance. He was still on my mind so my friend suggested to turn to the internet. I found him on Facebook and sent him a friend request.

I forgot about him once again because it took him about 3 weeks to accept it. (He obviously doesn't get on Facebook much.) But since I got the notification that he accepted, it reminded me of my intentions.

So how do I go about pursuing him? I never lead to FB to talk to guys. Do I message him? Poke him? Like a picture? Hhahah. Thanks for the advice.

You could send a message to him or chat with him on face book, then talked the things he might like movies, the games, his interests, movies, etc

Facebook isn't the best way to talk to him since he doesn't use it often. First try to talk to him in person, then use Facebook if nothing works. If you must talk to him on Facebook, simply try to catch him when he's on and message him hello. See if he holds an internet conversation with you, then ask him if you can text him.

If you like start by liking one of his pictures, when he gets the notification it will get him thinking about you! Meanwhile if you make eye contact with him at a game or something smile at him or if you see him after compliment him! Just little things like that to get him to notice you.. then one day if he is ever online maybe start talking to him or you can message him I guess! See where it goes and if he asks "why did you want to start talking to me" or something just say you have seen him at the games and wanted to get to know him better! That is the best way to get it started off, then maybe exchange numbers and eventually ask him to hang out because I have found that is the best way to get to know a guy better and start a relationship with him, good luck!
