The military contains primarily Republicans. The financial market professions also contain a lot of Republicans. Social workers tend to be Democrats. Has anybody noticed any other correlations?

YEs: teachers, union leaders, profs who never had a profession outside of academia, social workers, gubment workers, hollywood actors, singers, pop stars etc= generally democratic and not usually in touch with reality.

small business owners, accountants, etc usually republicans - usually in touch with reality as well.

If welfare bum can be called a profession (it is, but no one else has the guts to say that) you can find all the Democrats that you could ever want there.
