Who is sending me these gifts on farmville?

On facebook, the app farmville, I keep on getting these gifts but I never get that notification of a gift request. I don't know who is sending me these. I've gotten a picnic table, butter churner thing....what is up with this? Can people send gifts anonymously, or is the game just sending me gifts for the hell of it?

it's the game giving them to you, not other people. like when you accomplish something, one of the awards, you somtimes gets gift, without it telling you, I got the picnic table as welll.

the game gifts things at times. it gave me a butter churn and a picnic table.

that's probably because you earned a ribbon, usually when you get a ribbon farmville will give you a decoration or something like that
