When you pick out your puppy, choose the one that is calm and mild, but NOT shy or nervous. I picked mine because she was assertive and friendly, but not jumping or barking or going wild. She is a WONDERFUL puppy, very smart and sweet and friendly. I'm taking her everywhere with me and it's helping her get used to meeting new people.
