Almost 16. He's just turned 18. We talk and I thought he liked me. Met him once, used to phone me up. He was insecure about age at the start but then started a joke about calling me a 5 year old. He phoned me drunk, asked if I fancied this guy. He phoned me up saying 'I love you' and hung up. Seemed like he was by himself the 2nd time. Later on... I told him to meet me and he said he'd love to. He goes "age is just a number." I asked him what had changed his mind, he said "you". Before all this he teased me about fancying his friend, and teased me about liking this ugly boy.

A while later his MUM knew we were speaking - she gave him a nasty look about my age. He basically took it to heart and said it was weird that we spoke and we stopped speaking for a month. To that I said "I didn't think we were anything." (Meaning as friends) He replied "we're not, we're just two people which speak." A while later, I spoke to him about F.R.I.E.N.D.S, and he said to me "Argh i love talking to you, i shouldn't haha." I said that age didn't matter in some circumstances, even if we were merely talking. He said "I didn't want you to hate me because you're so lovely."

I want to talk to him but mostly he's blunt, (apparently because he does school work.) I don't want to hassle him, but he hardly ever talks to me first. The first time we spoke after that month, I told him to text me, but if he didn't want to I understood. And he didn't text me. He's NOT a player.

Ok recently I got hold of his number, he sent me a blank text later on in the conversation saying Ok. I decided not to reply. He then sent me another one saying "why so 5 years old?" Again. I didn't reply. Then ANOTHER one saying "Don't retweet my number you naughty girl." I replied later on the next day and he put Ok again. He's not speaking to me over twitter. How do I play this?
